María de Lourdes Arriaga Viveros is a dedicated linguist with a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from the Faculty of Languages at UAEMex, where she also earned her Bachelor’s in Languages. She holds a specialization in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from CEPE, UNAM, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Sciences at ISCEEM. Her professional experience includes teaching linguistics at UAEMex and CUI Toluca, as well as Spanish at CEPE UNAM in Chicago and Polanco. She has also designed instructional materials for UNAM’s CECMELH program and taught English at the secondary level for SEP. Her academic interests focus on Spanish as a foreign language, intercultural education, pragmatics, and cognitive linguistics.
